Maj Gen (Dr.) PK Singh, VSM (Retd) brings over four decades of leadership experience in healthcare planning, hospital administration, and community medicine. A decorated officer of the Indian Army, he has been awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) and multiple commendations from the Chief of Army Staff and GOC-in-C for his outstanding contributions to military healthcare. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Singh has combined strategic vision with a commitment to innovation and quality in healthcare systems. Founder Principal of Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences, where he established the college from the ground up and received several awards for outstanding leadership. He has also held senior positions including Additional Director General Medical Services (Army), Commandant of leading military hospitals, and Public Health Advisor with the United Nations in Somalia. An accomplished academic and researcher, Dr. Singh has contributed to the Manual of Health for the Armed Forces, chaired the editorial board of The Combat Medic journal, and published extensively in national and international journals. He is a founding member of the Indian Society of Hospital Waste Management and a fellow of several prestigious public health associations.
